While 9,000 event tickets were previously distributed via public ballot, 10,000 three-day tickets will be put on sale for the first Sevens in three years, with a small number reserved for any increased international demand in the wake of the change to the 0+3 day arrival policy in Hong Kong.

All tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Prices are frozen at 2019 levels with a three-day event pass at $1,950 for adults and a three-day event pass at $950 for children 12 and under while supplies last.

50% of tickets sold through local rugby clubs & stakeholders

Members of local rugby clubs have already purchased more than 16,500 tickets via the exclusive sales period offered to the game’s key stakeholders. This represents over 50% of stadium capacity, which is capped at 85% for November.

“We are hugely thankful for the support we have received from our rugby community and stakeholders to date,” said HKRU CEO Robbie McRobbie.

“It is comforting to know that we have already sold well over half of our tickets within our sporting community, and we are delighted to welcome the public to welcome the rugby world back to Hong Kong this November,” Mr McRobbie said.

With the Hong Kong rugby community lining up to celebrate the first Sevens since 2019 a festive weekend is sure to be on offer with 45 pulsating matches across three days of world-class sport, entertainment and live music at the 2022 Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens.
