（2023年10月13日，香港）「保誠香港網球公開賽2023」是日完成女子單打及雙打半準決賽。
單打方面，網球主場首場賽事由蘇莉比絲（Sara Sorribes Tormo）對陣五號種子球手比蓮高娃（Anna Blinkova）。最終，比蓮高娃以7-6(3)，6-3的比分於取勝，賽後表示：「這場勝利得來不易。蘇莉比絲是一個不好招架的對手，我必須全力以赴才能晉身準決賽。」
網球主場第二場賽事由三號種子球手瑪天絲（Elise Mertens）及六號種子球手查維辛（Martina Trevisan）呈獻強強對陣。查維辛六度打破對手發球局，最終以6-4，6-3的比分獲勝。她在賽後表示：「這是一場很有難度的對戰，我很高興能最終取勝。本賽季早些時候我曾以大比分輸給瑪天絲，再度對陣我經已做好全力以赴的準備，因此現在我能在這次賽事中走得更遠。很高興第一次來到香港，這也是我本賽季第一次打進四強。」
深受球迷喜愛的費蘭迪絲（Leylah Fernandez）也在今晚於網球主場迎戰新星科奴維杜娃，上演精彩女網戲碼。首盤決勝局，費蘭迪絲連贏三局，以7-2領先18歲的科奴維杜娃。費蘭迪絲再接再勵，直落兩盤以7-6(2)，6-2擊敗對手，成功晉級準決賽。費蘭迪絲賽後表示：「這也是場需拼盡全力的比賽。年輕球手對勝利有難以想像的渴求及拼搏精神，和她們交手總是不易。感謝所有球迷再次來到現場給我鼓勵，感謝你們的喜愛。希望我能在這場賽事行得更遠。」
「保誠香港網球公開賽2017」單打冠軍柏芙尤真高娃（Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova）與曾獲4次WTA單打錦標的仙妮雅高娃（Katerina Siniakova）壓軸呈獻精彩對賽。柏芙尤真高娃先把握一個破發分，以4-2領先，但最終以7-6(1)的比分首盤輸給仙妮雅高娃。火力全開的仙妮雅高娃四次打破對手發球局，最終以7-6(1)，6-4的比分取勝。仙妮雅高娃明日將碰上六號種子球手查維辛，她表示：「預計明日將會是一場大戰，我必定發揮全力。」
雙打方面，1號球場首輪雙打賽事由湯千慧和曹家宜迎戰謝語倢和恩先娜（Ekaterina Yashina）。湯千慧和曹家宜將對手的二次發球得分率壓至25%內，並四次把握破發分，以6-3，6-3的比分獲勝，晉級女雙準決賽。
雙打三號種子嘉拉舒妮高娃（Oksana Kalashnikova）夥拍莎絲洛域治（Aliaksandra Sasnovich）則四次擊破盧賀芙（Julia Lohoff）和佩蓮（Conny Perrin）的發球局，以7-5，6-2的比分晉身女雙四強。
1號球場最後一場賽事由雙打二號種子彼達（Katarzyna Piter）和瑪露莎娃（Lidziya Marozava）對陣史坦恩絲（Peyton Stearns）和安祖莉娃（Mirra Andreeva）。經過兩盤激戰，二號種子組合以7-5，7-6(6)的比分險勝，成功晉級。
(13 October 2023, HONG KONG) The singles and doubles quarterfinals were completed today at the Prudential Hong Kong Tennis Open (“PHKTO”) 2023.
The singles quarterfinals kicked-off with Sara Sorribes Tormo up against No.5 seed Anna Blinkova on Centre Court. Following her 7-6(3) 6-3 win against Sorribes Tormo, Blinkova said: "Today was a tough match. She is a very difficult opponent to play against and I really had to go for it to win the points.”
Following the first match on Centre Court, No.3 seed player Elise Mertens took on No.6 seed Martina Trevisan in an all-seeded showdown. Trevisan broke No. 3 seed Elise Mertens six times to prevail in their quarterfinal clash 6-4 6-3. Trevisan said: "It was a tough match, so I'm happy with the win. I lost to Elise easily earlier this season, but I was ready to fight. The important thing is that I'm here still. Very happy to be in Hong Kong for the first time and into my first semifinal this season."
Crowd pleaser Leylah Fernandez faced teen star Linda Fruhvirtova in a youthful third match on Centre Court. Fernandez smacked three consecutive winners to take the opening set tiebreak 7-2 against 18-year-old Fruhvirtova. Displaying her full arsenal of weaponry, Fernandez saw off Fruhvirtova in straight sets 7-6(2) 6-2. Fernandez said: "It's a tough match. It's always tough to play younger players who are even hungrier and more aggressive than you. Thank you to all the fans for coming out to support me again. Thank you all for the love. Hopefully, I can stick around a little longer.”
The final match on Centre Court saw PHKTO 2017 champion Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova face four-time WTA singles titlist Katerina Siniakova. Pavlyuchenkova was up a break 4-2 but ended up losing the first set in a one-sided tiebreak to Siniakova 7-6(1). A red-hot Siniakova broke Pavlyuchenkova four times to run away with a 7-6(1) 6-4 quarterfinal victory. Siniakova, who will play Martina Trevisan tomorrow, said: “I expect a tough match and I will for sure need to show my best.”
The doubles quarterfinals commenced with Tang Qianhui/ Tsao Chia-yi facing Hsieh Yu-chieh/ Ekaterina Yashina. Tang/ Tsao limited Hsieh/ Yashina to a 25% win rate on 2nd serves and broke their opponents four times to win 6-3 6-3 to go through to the women's doubles semis.
Third seeds Oksana Kalashnikova/Aliaksandra Sasnovich broke Julia Lohoff/Conny Perrin four times in all to progress to the women's doubles semis with a 7-5 6-2 win, while No.1 sees Anna Danilina/Alexandra Panova handled Sofya Lansere/Kamilla Rakhimova 6-3 7-6(4).
The last match on Court 1 saw the second seeds Katarzyna Piter/Lidziya Marozava do just enough to get past Peyton Stearns/Mirra Andreeva in two tight sets 7-5 7-6(6) to advance to the women's doubles semifinals.
