（2023年10月14日，香港）「保誠香港網球公開賽2023」準決賽日，所有賽事均於網球主場舉行。
女單準決賽，由觀眾喜愛的費蘭迪絲（Leylah Fernandez）對陣五號種子球手比蓮高娃（Anna Blinkova）拉開序幕。費蘭迪絲以精妙的落點還擊打破五號種子的發球局，以6-2贏得首盤對陣。隨後費蘭迪絲成功把握決勝分，以6-2，7-5擊敗對手。她於賽後表示：「今天的勝利來之不易。比蓮高娃是位非常出色的球手，擊球力量十足。我竭力讓自己保持冷靜，並提醒自己要為觀眾上演一場精彩對戰。在香港球迷面前比賽的感覺非常美妙，再次感謝大家的支持，我們明天見！」
緊接首場賽事，六號種子查維辛（Martina Trevisan）對戰仙妮雅高娃（Katerina Siniakova）；仙妮雅高娃以一記充滿力量的反手回擊直線致勝，成功保住發球局，以6-4拿下首盤。查維辛雖從未放棄，成功挽救兩個決勝分，但仙妮雅高娃更勝一籌，以6-4，6-2直落兩盤晉級決賽。仙妮雅高娃賽後表示：「要勝出這場對陣絕非易事，我很興奮能最終闖入決賽，希望能繼續保持這個良好狀態。費蘭迪絲是位攻擊強勁的對手，我需要平復心情及好好休息，為決賽做好準備，迎接明日大戰。」
女雙準決賽，首次拍檔的湯千慧和曹家宜以6-7(2)，6-3 [10-6]的比分擊敗雙打二號種子瑪露莎娃和彼達，成功晉級明日決賽！曹家宜賽後表示：「能到香港作賽是意外之喜。媽媽打電話告訴我中籤時我還在計劃著假期及其他事情，現在我卻站在這裡，更打入決賽，這感覺十分美妙！」
緊接其後，嘉拉舒妮高娃夥拍莎絲洛域治五次打破雙打頭號種子丹妮蓮娜和柏露娃，以6-4，6-3直落兩盤獲勝，將在明日決賽中與湯千慧和曹家宜爭奪雙打冠軍！
明日下午2時正將展開「保誠香港網球公開賽2023」女雙決賽及雙打頒獎典禮，及後（不早於下午4時正）將展開女單決賽及頒獎典禮。
(14 October 2023, HONG KONG) The singles semifinals of the Prudential Hong Kong Tennis Open (“PHKTO”) 2023 were completed today at Victoria Park Tennis Stadium’s Centre Court.
Play commenced with crowd favourite Leylah Fernandez taking on 5th seed Anna Blinkova. Fernandez broke the 5th-seeded Blinkova with an exquisite drop shot to claim the opener 6-2. In the second set, Fernandez capitalised on her fourth match point to prevail against 5th seed Blinkova 6-2 7-5, and said: "Match was tough. She's a tremendous player, who hits with a lot of power. I just tried to stay calm and remind myself it's a battle, so just put on a good show for everyone. It feels amazing playing in front of the Hong Kong crowd. Thank you so much for coming out and I'll see you tomorrow!”
The second semifinal was a clash between No. 6 seed Martina Trevisan from Italy and Czech Republic's Katerina Siniakova. Siniakova held to love as she smacked a vicious backhand down the line winner to grab the first set 6-4. Although the never-say-die Trevisan managed to save two match points in the end, it was not enough to stop the big-hitting Siniakova from going through in straight sets 6-4 6-2. Siniakova said: "It was a very tough battle. I'm excited to be in the final. I will try to keep the momentum going, but for now, I need to calm down and relax, and prepare for tomorrow. Leylah is a real aggressive player, so I need to be ready.”
For the doubles semifinals, competing together for the first time, Tang Qianhui/Tsao Chia Yi defeated No. 2 seed Katarzyna Piter/Lidziya Marozava 6-7(2) 6-3 [10-6] to advance to tomorrow's women's doubles final. Tsao Chia Yi: "I had no idea I was even going to compete here in Hong Kong. I was like planning my holiday and everything and then my mom called and told me I got in the draw. Now, we're in the final. It feels kind of unreal at the moment!”
Oksana Kalashnikova/Aliaksandra Sasnovich broke No. 1 seed Anna Danilina/Alexandra Panova five times tonight to win 6-4 6-3 to set up a showdown with Tang Qianhui/Tsao Chia Yi in tomorrow's final.
Tomorrow is the PHKTO finals day, with the doubles final followed by the doubles prize ceremony starting at 2pm on Centre Court, and the singles final followed by the singles prize ceremony scheduled for not before 4pm.
