「保誠香港網球公開賽2023」10月10日每日精華 Prudential Hong Kong Tennis Open 2023 10 October Highlights
（2023年10月10日，香港）是日天氣晴朗，「保誠香港網球公開賽2023」最後一輪資格賽及首輪正賽賽事於同日順利舉行。
是日網球主場的首場賽事由16歲的網壇超新星安祖莉娃（Mirra Andreeva）對陣「保誠香港網球公開賽」衛冕冠軍恩絲杜絲卡（Dayana Yastremska），安祖莉娃今天狀態大勇，以6-4，6-3取得勝利。
第二場賽事由香港首席女網球手張瑋桓碰上澳籍球手韓天遇，雙方勢均力敵，張瑋桓在第十一局時不慎拉傷大腿，但仍堅持比賽，激烈對陣長達2小時，最後韓天遇以7-5，7-5獲勝。
第三場單打正賽則由前世界排名第一位的艾莎蓮嘉（Victoria Azarenka）迎戰首次來港作賽的費蘭迪絲（Leylah Fernandez），艾莎蓮嘉首盤得分為6-2，領先4分，但在第二盤遺憾受傷，忍痛退賽；費蘭迪絲晉級下輪賽事。
本晚最後一場賽事由王欣瑜對陣艾雲妮絲恩，艾雲妮絲恩因傷退賽，王欣瑜以6-2，4-1的比分晉級下輪賽事。
是日焦點活動包括於「保誠專區」舉行的球星簽名會；安祖莉娃、韓天遇在「網球同樂區」與球迷簽名合照，能夠與心水球手近距離接觸，各球迷都十分興奮。
明天將於下午3時繼續展開單/ 雙打正賽，晚上更會驚喜放送「星級名人賽」，由中國香港網球總會推廣大使陳奕迅（Eason）、WTA球星及即將出戰殘亞的本地輪椅網球手莫家安（安仔）和劉冠東（阿東）於網球主場上演精彩表演賽。
(10 October 2023, HONG KONG) The final round of qualifying matches concluded today prior to the first 10 first round singles main draw matches of Prudential Hong Kong Tennis Open 2023 being played.
The first singles main draw match on Centre Court saw 16-year-old Mirra Andreeva up against defending champion Dayana Yastremska. Andreeva was in great form today, winning 6-4 6-3.
For the second match on Centre Court, Australia’s Priscilla Hon faced Hong Kong's No.1 tennis player Eudice Chong. After Hon took the first set, Chong was unable to serve out the second set and then experienced a leg injury after trying to run down a drop shot in the eleventh game. Hon broke serve again to take the set and the match 7-5 7-5 after a fierce confrontation that lasted for 2 hours.
The third Centre Court match pitted No.1 seed Victoria Azarenka against Leylah Fernandez who was making her Hong Kong debut. Azarenka unfortunately had to retire due to a leg injury at one-set all, 6-2 3-6.
The final Centre Court contest of the night featured No.4 seed Wang Xinyu against Elina Avanesyan, with Wang Xinyu winning 6-2, 4-1 after Avanesyan was forced to retire.
Autograph sessions were held at the Prudential Booth, where two of today’s winners - Andreeva and Hon signed autographs for fans in the Tournament Village.
Tomorrow will feature the remaining first round singles matches, alongside the start of the doubles draw and the first second round singles matches, starting at 3pm. HKCTA Ambassador Eason Chan will play an exhibition match at 6:30pm, joined by a WTA star and local wheelchair players Mok Ka On and Lau Koon Tung at Victoria Park Tennis Stadium.
