球星拱照「保誠香港網球公開賽2023」 六大世界級女網球手落陣加入戰陣

（2023年10月6日，香港）中國香港網球總會（「網總」）是日宣佈，現時世界排名前50位的女網球手，包括：比蓮高娃（Anna Blinkova，第39位）、查維辛（Martina Trevisan，第40位）、史坦恩絲（Peyton Stearns，第46位）及莉查娃（Vavara Gracheva，第47位），以及七屆大滿貫雙打冠軍得主仙妮雅高娃（Kateřina Siniaková）及「保誠香港網球公開賽2017」單打亞軍嘉芙莉露娃（Daria Gavrilova）已確認來港作賽。各球手將出戰「保誠香港網球公開賽2023」，在10月7日至15日於維多利亞公園網球主場綻放網球力量，角逐此WTA250級別國際巡迴賽的冠軍寶座。
另外，早前公佈的寶達普娃（Anastasia Potapova）因傷遺憾退賽，其單打正賽席位將由「保誠香港網球公開賽2018」單打冠軍恩絲杜絲卡（Dayana Yastremska）接替。
今屆「保誠香港網球公開賽」單打正賽陣容實力強橫，除了兩屆大滿貫單打冠軍艾莎蓮嘉（Victoria Azarenka）、「法國網球公開賽2023」四強球手夏達馬雅（Beatriz Haddad Maia）、現時世界排名第29位的瑪天絲（Elise Mertens）三位經驗豐富的猛將，還有費蘭迪絲（Leylah Fernandez）、「保誠香港網球公開賽2017」單打冠軍柏芙尤真高娃（Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova）、中國球手王欣瑜和王曦雨及青少年超新星安祖莉娃（Mirra Andreeva）等後起之秀。本地球手張瑋桓、王康怡、胡可澄及伍曼瑩亦會於這項WTA250賽事奮力吸取經驗。
中國香港網球總會會長莫君逸先生表示：「WTA巡迴賽再度重返香港，我對於能在維園看到如此強勁的球手陣容而感到高興。大家期待已久、匯聚競技及娛樂元素的一週盛事即將揭幕，我們將藉國際賽事的舞台一展香港風采，吸引海外遊客及本地市民入場觀賽的同時，亦逐步培養大眾對體育運動的熱情及興趣。」
公眾可於快達票官網（www.hkticketing.com）購買10月10日至15日的賽事門票，售價由港幣160元至970元不等。如欲獲悉更多賽事相關精彩內容，請瀏覽官方網站：www.hktennisopen.hk。公眾可於10月7日至8日免費入場觀看單打資格賽；球迷及市民亦可於10月9日（「全民參與星期一 」）免費入場觀看單/ 雙打正賽。
10月9日至15日期間，「網球同樂區」將免費開放予市民入場，公眾可在同樂區體驗不同主題活動。今屆「網球同樂區」同樣座落於維多利亞公園網球場，以「綻放網球力量」為主題，設有多元化的互動環節，包括：有專業網球教練於合家歡迷你網球場即場示範及指導、有大受歡迎的發球速度挑戰、有適合任何年齡人士體驗的網球遊戲。球迷亦可於「保誠專區」的簽名區與心水球星見面，與她們近距離接觸及在場內購買「保誠網球公開賽2023」限定紀念品。「網球同樂區」還設置大型螢幕直播賽事，市民及遊客可一邊享受美味小食，一邊觀賞世界級女子網球對陣，一同投入網球狂熱。

(6 October 2023, HONG KONG) Hong Kong, China Tennis Association (“HKCTA”) announced today that top 50 players Anna Blinkova (No.39), Martina Trevisan (No.40), Peyton Stearns (No.46) and Vavara Gracheva (No.47) as well as seven-time doubles Grand Slam champion Kateřina Siniaková and 2017 PHKTO singles finalist Daria Gavrilova have joined the field for the Prudential Hong Kong Tennis Open (“PHKTO”). The WTA 250 tournament takes place between 7 and 15 October at Victoria Park Tennis Stadium.
Anastasia Potapova announced her withdrawal from the event due to injury and has been replaced in the singles main draw by 2018 PHKTO singles champion Dayana Yastremska.
The PHKTO singles draw will be led by two-time Grand Slam singles champion Victoria Azarenka, 2023 Roland Garros singles semi-finalist Beatriz Haddad Maia and world No.29 Elise Mertens alongside dangerous threats Leylah Fernandez, 2017 PHKTO singles champion Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, China’s Wang Xinyu and Wang Xiyu and teen sensation Mirra Andreeva. Meanwhile Hong Kong’s own Eudice Chong, Cody Wong, Tiffany Wu and Maggie Ng will all feature in the WTA 250 event.
HKCTA President Philip Mok said: “On the eve of the return of WTA tennis to Hong Kong, I am delighted to see such a strong line-up of players gracing the event. We are poised for an exhilarating week of tennis and entertainment that promises to showcase Hong Kong on the global stage and captivate the local community, while fostering a deeper passion for sports.”
Tickets for 10-15 October can be purchased online at Hong Kong Ticketing (www.hkticketing.com) with prices ranging from HK$160 to HK$970 and more information can be found at the Tournament’s official website www.hktennisopen.hk. Entry for the qualifying rounds will be free-of-charge on 7 & 8 October and fans can also enjoy all main draw matches with free entry on Monday 9 October, as part of “People’s Monday.”
The PHKTO Tournament Village will be offering entertainment to all with free entry to the public from 9-15 October. Embracing the theme of “Celebrating Greatness,” visitors can enjoy a variety of tennis themed activities including a mini-tennis court with coaching clinics and demonstrations, a serve speed booth and tennis game booths suitable for all ages. Fans will also be able to meet their favourite players at autograph sessions at the Prudential Booth, purchase limited edition PHKTO merchandise and enjoy refreshments whilst catching a live broadcast of the matches on the giant video screen.
